HESIS have completed the installation of fire and security systems at the new St Mary’s student village, Bangor University.

The company’s Account Manager, Rob Beck, says, ‘We were delighted to be awarded this prestigious project and knew that we could exceed Bangor University’s stated requirements. We have worked closely with Gent to design, supply, commission and service the company’s fire detection and alarm systems to the very highest standards.’

The solution specified by HESIS is based around Gent’s industry leading Vigilon system. Due to the difficult nature of the build, the commissioning programme was drastically reduced. Beck comments, ‘The HESIS team and its supply chain pulled together to overcome this and completed a first class project on time and within budget.’
